Engineering & Design

At Easter-Owens, our engineers use the latest version of AutoCAD to create drawings to your specifications. Our expertise includes starters, switches, panel operators, electrical control & distribution systems, and automation controls such as PLCs.  We are also well acquainted with specialty applications including customer MCCs, low/medium voltage utility cabinets and gas purge systems.

TouchBolt™ Switches and Control Modules

Invented by Easter-Owens, the TouchBolt™ control switch has a life expectancy far exceeding any mechanical switch currently on the market. It operates through a simple human touch with no mechanical parts.  The TouchBolt™ system replaces conventional toggle or push-button switches where they may be subject to abuse or severe conditions. The switch system has two parts. An electronic module (TBM) and a virtually indestructible stainless-steel bolt. This bolt mounts on a faceplate or in a panel so that only the head of the switch is exposed. With the touch of a finger, the module controls LEDs, relays, or PLC inputs.

 

• Each TouchBolt™ module is available with either momentary or maintained outputs
• A single TBM can control one or two lighting loads and up to four operational sequences
• The switch can be mounted in the fixture or in a remote location
• The switch can be integrated with electronic or core and coil ballasts
• Perhaps most importantly, the TouchBolt™ system is UL-Listed
