David Easter

DAVID EASTER

CEO

After graduation, David started working at Easter-Owens, which was started by his father, William Easter, in 1955. Rising up the ranks rather quickly, he was named President in 1980 and currently is the CEO.

As a true visionary, David has taken the company from a simple metal fabrication shop to the electrical manufacturer that Easter-Owens is known for today.

A true Colorado native, David was born in Denver, grew up in Wheat Ridge and graduated in 1973 from Wheat Ridge High School. Go Farmers! David has been married to his wife, Pamela for over 30 years and they have two daughters, Erica and Tara.

An avid outdoorsman, David takes full advantage of the Colorado lifestyle by skiing, fishing, rafting, hunting and golfing as much as he can. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters, son-in-law, and his many wonderful friends.

Thomas Huseas

President

Growing up on a ranch near Monument, Colorado, Tom loved to work on old tractors and cars. His love for mechanics took him the Colorado School of Mines where he earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering.

His love for mechanics took him the Colorado School of Mines where he earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Loving the outdoors he decided to call Golden, CO home. He has worked his way through various engineering roles, area sales management positions, business development and sales management. Along the way he fell in love with the business side of work and gained his MBA from the University of Colorado in Denver.

Tom’s career has been heavily based in both mechanical and electrical manufacturing businesses where he learned how engineering, operations, front end and aftermarket sales must coexist for a company to be successful.

When not at work, Tom is a family man who loves spending time with his wife Lisa and new baby boy. Keeping with the norm at Easter Owens, he skis, rides dirt bikes, goes camping, and loves all things outdoors.

ERICA EASTER

Director of Operations

Erica has worked at Easter-Owens for over a decade and observed the business for practically her entire life.

Erica has worked at Easter-Owens for over a decade and observed the business for practically her entire life. Since she joined Easter-Owens as a full-time employee, she’s had many roles and responsibilities in the organization including Operations, Quality Control and Compliance, building internal process and procedures and a variety of critical tasks to ensure the company runs smoothly.

As the Director of Operations, Erica is responsible for managing the production throughput, executing projects effectively and efficiently and consistently improving her team’s performance levels.

Erica was born in Denver and like her father, graduated from Wheat Ridge High School. Go Farmers! She then went on to Regis University to compete in Varsity Cross Country and graduated Summa Cum Laude with two degrees: a B.A. in Communication and a B.A. in photography. Erica lives in Denver with her fur family and enjoys competitive running, photography and traveling all over the world.

Mike Brown

MIKE BROWN, CPA

CFO

Mike joined Easter-Owens in 2009 to supervise and manage all functions of the accounting department.

Prior to joining Easter-Owens, Mike graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and then worked at a large accounting firm in Denver as a Senior Associate, performing audits, reviews and compilation engagements for several clients.

Mike was born in Chicago but has lived in Denver for over 20 years and is an avid sports fan that loves to watch games and participate in recreational sports in his free time.

Shawn Olson

Director of Strategic Sales

Shawn is an experienced professional with 25+ years of experience in a wide variety of markets.

Shawn is an experienced professional with 25+ years of experience in a wide variety of markets. As the Director of Strategic Sales she is responsible for Inside Sales/Estimating, Tactical Sales, Business Development and Marketing.

Shawn has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School and Mines and a MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.

When Shawn is not at the office you can find her enjoying the adventures of scuba diving, fly fishing and traveling all over the world.

Tony Renfrow

Director, Solutions Management

Tony is responsible for the Engineering and Project Management teams at Easter-Owens. His focus is providing our customers with outstanding project management and engineering excellence.

Tony comes to Easter-Owens with over 20 years of experience in and around the energy sector, providing project management on complex capital projects. Much of his career has been focused on delivering fabricated equipment, modular skids and packaged units with a high degree of custom engineering content.
Tony moved to Colorado in 2010 with the idea of starting a family and putting down roots. He is actively engaged with his family and church community, and spends his free time either outdoors or in his wood shop.

PAMELA MAYA EASTER

Human Resources

With her Master Certificate in Human Resources from Cornell University, Pamela manages all of the employees various needs and requests.

With over 35 years of experience in various roles within Easter-Owens and other organizations, Pamela is well-versed in what it takes to run a successful operation.

In her spare time, Pamela likes to spend time with her family, read, cook, and travel. Pamela was born in New York City and moved to Denver in 1979.

Ken Schultz

KEN SCHULTZE, E.E.

Vice President of Engineering

Ken is the Vice President of Engineering for Easter-Owens, which consists of the mechanical, electrical, PLC/HMI programming and process integration skills.

Ken is the Vice President of Engineering for Easter-Owens, which consists of the mechanical, electrical, PLC/HMI programming and process integration skills. The department engineers all projects small to large.

Ken has been in the electrical equipment manufacturing workplace for over 20 years with a strong skill set in custom electrical power distribution equipment and electrical controls such as PLC and relay logic type panels for various industries and applications.

Ken has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado. Ken enjoys outdoor activities in wonderful Colorado with his wife and 3 children including camping, hiking and fishing as well as gardening at home.

Business Development

Tara has worked part-time at Easter-Owens since she was 16 and full time since 2011, when she graduated from Metropolitan State University with a B.S. in business management.

She has worked in various departments including Accounting, Purchasing, Order Processing, Project Management and now is in Marketing.

Tara recently wed her husband, Jared, on her parent’s 34th wedding anniversary. She enjoys spending time with her family and her two puppies. Tara also enjoys playing and watching sports, shopping, and traveling.

Tara was born and raised in Colorado and also a graduate of Wheat Ridge High.

SUSAN JACOBSON

Account Manager

In 2009, Susan started working at Easter-Owens and has worked in various departments including Order Processing, Production and Project Management.

Susan was born in Washington State and shortly after moved to Colorado where she was raised. When Susan is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, reading, and knitting.

Joe Sullivan

Project Manager, Solutions Management

Joe brings 8 years of experience to his role as Project Manager at Easter-Owens with industry training in the energy sector, infrastructure and consumer product development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Denver. Joe is a Denver native and enjoys catch and release fishing in his free time.

JANICE MILLER

Senior Project Estimator

With over 40 years of custom electrical manufacturing and estimating experience, Janice is a great resource for customers that have custom requirements, such as design/build, sheet metal, controls, power distribution and PLC.

With over 40 years of custom electrical manufacturing and estimating experience, Janice is a great resource for customers that have custom requirements, such as design /build, sheet metal, controls, power distribution and PLC.

Her experience also includes everything from product development, standard pricing templates, major product purchasing and special pricing negotiations. Janice is well-versed in UL and electrical standards and has relationships with all of the major electrical manufacturers. She also takes pride in being a true customer advocate and will go to great lengths to create a cost competitive solution.

Janice enjoys jewelry making and sewing when she is not cranking out estimates to her many loyal customers.

RANDY PHILP

Mechanical Design Lead

Randy has been with Easter-Owens for over 22 years, starting out in the shop as a welder, where he became proficient and was certified in many types of weld procedures.

Randy has been with Easter-Owens for over 22 years, starting out in the shop as a welder, where he became proficient and was certified in many types of weld procedures. He has a complete understanding of the machinery and tooling used at Easter-Owens, as he also served as lead fabricator for six years.

During his tenure as a welder, Randy was often called upon to design and fabricate many of the more complex products that came through the shop. Currently, Randy’s role at Easter-Owens finds him designing custom and standard products ranging from simple NEMA 1’s to complex Power Distribution Centers. He actively engages in the Research and Development for Easter-Owens by using his shop knowledge and his several years of CNC programming experience.

Randy is blessed with a wonderful wife, four boys and five grandchildren. He has a passion for flying, photography, and wood working and hopes to incorporate flying and photography into a side business one day. He is also going through the pains of learning to play the violin these days.

Pat Lane

Mechanical Engineer

I'm a high energy, a personable engineer. I've worked on a variety of projects spanning from medical device design to downhole tool development in the oil and gas industry.

Prior to working for Easter-Owens, I worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer for 2 years. I’m originally from Nebraska and following graduation, I moved to Houston. Fortunately, the woman I love is originally from Colorado, and she convinced to move to Arvada. We spend our time fishing and enjoying all the amazing outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

CLARK THOMPSON

Mechanical Designer

Clark’s niche, in his words, is “designing physical solutions for conceptual predicaments”. He is a creative builder and problem solver at heart.

Clark has been in the industry for over seven years and with Easter-Owens for over four years, and he has a B.S. in Foundations of Manufacturing from Metropolitan State University.

Purchasing Agent

Nan has 14+ years of experience in negotiating with vendors and has spent the past few years at Easter-Owens receiving the the lowest possible pricing and expediting materials. In turn, this results in our ability to hit deadlines in the most efficient way.

Jared has been Quality Control Manger for 2 years with Easter-Owens.

Jared has been a Quality Control Manger for Easter-Owens for 2 years. Prior to his time with the company, Jared was a Spine Sales and Surgical Implantation Representative for Core Link and Vertebral Technologies.

When Jared is not at the office you can find him heading to Broncos games or playing some Xbox. He also enjoys what Colorado has to offer by exploring the outdoors with wife Tara, 1 year old London and 3 Dogs – small, medium and large doodles.

Fabrication Lead

J.D. has been with Easter-Owens for over 11 years and oversees all operations in the Fabrication Department from training employees to inspection of product before it is ready for paint and assembly.

J.D. has been with Easter-Owens for over 11 years and oversees all operations in the Fabrication Department from training employees to inspection of product before it is ready for paint and assembly. He also maintains many state of the art machines in the shop used for the metal fab process.

J.D. truly enjoys living in Colorado for the many outdoor activities that are offered year-round.

After spending four years in the United States Marine Corp Airwing as a metal smith, Jim joined the Easter-Owens team 38 years ago and has been here ever since.

After spending four years in the United States Marine Corp Airwing as a metal smith, Jim joined the Easter-Owens team 38 years ago and has been here ever since.

Throughout his 38 years at Easter-Owens, Jim has dabbled in several roles including receiving, managing large projects for Coors Brewing, and small scale fabrication.

Today, Jim is responsible for company fleet, assemblies, and shipping all Easter-Owens products. In his free time, Jim enjoys woodworking.

Wiring Lead

Ross is the Wiring Lead and department supervisor at Easter-Owens and has been at the company for over 30 years.

Ross is the Wiring Lead and department supervisor at Easter-Owens and has been at the company for over 30 years. His broad experience includes assembly and wiring controls for a breadth of industries, including oil and gas, detention and aviation to name a few. Ross trains and supervises his team of dedicated coworkers to assemble and wire control panels to the highest standards in the industry. He likes spending time with family and friends, animals and attending sporting events. He also loves wood working and remodeling projects at home.

Accounts Receivable/Job Costing Analyst

With over 25 years of experience in various project accounting and finance positions within the construction and manufacturing industries, John is responsible for AR transactions and job costing analysis.

Cathy joined Easter-Owens in 2009 and works in the Accounting Department in the AP role.

Cathy joined Easter-Owens in 2009 and works in the Accounting Department in the AP role. Her background as a small business owner and accounts payable manager have given her the skills needed to perform her job adeptly and treat people as she expects to be treated.

Cathy spends her free time hanging out with her husband and Weimeraner, being outdoors (weather permitting), traveling (usually to see family) and finding enjoyment in each and every day.

VERONICA (VON) KLENE

Office Administrator

Von is the wonderful person that everyone sees when they walk into the front door at Easter-Owens.

Von is the wonderful person that everyone sees when they walk into the front door at Easter-Owens. She is responsible for answering the phones, directing calls to all of the employees, and greeting all of the visitors and customers coming into the office.

On top of her phone and greeting duties, Von also does all of the Order Processing of new orders that come into the Sales Department. Prior to her work at Easter-Owens, Von worked as an Office Assistant for the Bureau of Reclamation until she had her first son at which time she transitioned and stayed home to raise her four wonderful sons.

Von has been married for 34 beautiful years; she and her husband enjoy traveling and have enjoyed going to all of their son’s baseball, football, basketball and soccer activities over the years.

Kevin Craft

As a Business Development Manager for Easter-Owens, Kevin says he has been given a “very stable platform in which to continue to sharpen my skills in business development, and learn the best techniques to apply to win more business.”

As a Business Development Manager for Easter-Owens, Kevin says he has been given a “very stable platform in which to continue to sharpen my skills in business development, and learn the best techniques to apply to win more business.” With his wide background in sales, management, business development, and more he has developed relationships with clients for years. Kevin knows that the best way to help out the company and the client is to be able to understand what the client needs and wants well enough to understand what the best solution is.

Kevin and his wife have blended their family of 5 children, and have been blessed with 12 grandchildren! He says, “there is never a dull moment in our lives!”

Nick Anderson

Estimator/Sales Department

Nick began working for Easter-Owen In June 2014 as an electrician in the wiring department. With no prior electrical work experience, he caught on quickly and was very willing to learn new skills.

Nick began working for Easter-Owen In June 2014 as an electrician in the wiring department. With no prior electrical work experience, he caught on quickly and was very willing to learn new skills. Nick simultaneously worked in this position and went to school at Regis University to complete a B.S. Business Administration degree with a specialization in Management. In February 2018, he joined the Inside Sales team.
Nick comes from a family of six and is a fraternal twin. His Husky Atlas is the most important thing in his life, but also enjoys his time at the gym and working around the house.

At Easter-Owens, Sherif is able to inject himself right into the process and help the team work towards a more effective solution in his position as an Application Engineer. Prior to joining the workforce, he earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, where he was heavily involved in the Minority Engineering Program and the National Society of Black Engineers.

At Easter-Owens, Sherif is able to inject himself right into the process and help the team work towards a more effective solution in his position as an Application Engineer. Prior to joining the workforce, he earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, where he was heavily involved in the Minority Engineering Program and the National Society of Black Engineers.
Sherif has extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry, and he joined Easter-Owens in July 2017 as an Application Engineer. He is constantly focused on continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing initiatives which significantly benefit the organization.
Outside of work, Sherif enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs. He is a passionate fan of music, video games, comic books, and basketball – especially the hometown Denver Nuggets. Sherif also enjoys giving back to the community by tutoring and mentoring middle and high school students near his hometown Aurora.
